Swollen gums??

Did anyone experience swollen or painful gums during pregnancy. My mouth hurt so back in the beginning. I went to the dentist and they said it was normal from hormone fluctuations. That  was 1st trimester. Now I have this spot that my gums are swelling over my tooth and has been like this for a month or so?? Constantly bleeding when I brush or eat something firm.

Oh yes that's gingivitis. How uncomfortable, I'm sorry :/ I really recommend you see a dentist!! I have heard that bad cases need some sort of dental care or you could have lasting problems with tissue loss in your gums.

It's gingivitis, which happens alot in pregnancy. make sure to floss!

Use an antiseptic mouth wash and make sure you brush your teeth at least once a day it will go away

This is normal. I had this with my first pregnancy and it's called pregnancy gingivitis.

Maybe get it checked just in case of abscess, but yes it's very normal for the gums to swell and bleed.

I’m having this now for the first time ever , any advice? I can’t go to the hospital because of COVID . I feel no pain atm
