Doctor's appointments with husband?

Question

I just scheduled my first 2 doctors appointments, one at 8 weeks and the other at 12. Just wondering which appointments did you have your husband go to?

he came to the ultrasound ones, and my doctor appt when we had a bleeding scare. He works longer hours than me and since most prenatal appts are in and out in 20 minutes, we agreed he didn't need to take time off work for them and I went alone

My boyfriend went to my first and second. There's no reason for him to go after that really. Unless it's an ultrasound appointment I told my boyfriend that he didn't have to come.

With our first baby, my husband came to every appointment. He worked night shift and had the whole day open, which he was so grateful for since it meant he didn't have to miss out. 
Now, with our second baby, my husband hasn't been to any of them 😩 he was promoted to a better position and switched to the day shift. So he unfortunately hasn't been able to make it to any. It sucks, but at the same time I understand. His job is important for our livelihood and his future career endeavors. Plus, he wants to use his vacation time and 5 given sick days to take off once our second baby is born.

Have him go to the first one, they'll do an ultrasound.

He will go to my first ultrasound at 12 weeks.  He didn't go to my first or second appointments where I did blood work and exams. After that, I'm not sure.

My husband comes to all my appointments if he can. He's only missed 1 so far. We are a high risk pregnancy & nearing the end so he's just been coordinating with his work & sleep schedule to be available (we have at least 2 appts weekly at this point).

I always call and ask what will go on at appointment. Important things, obviously like ultrasounds and the first heartbeat, I have hubby go with 🙂

My husband went to my appointment at 10 and 36 weeks because there were ultrasounds. (He skipped the 20 week ultrasound because we did a private ultrasound at 16 weeks so we already knew the gender). Most other appointments would have been a waste of his time, especially if he needed to take off work to go.

My husband went to all my appointments. He now only goes to every other one. Im 35 weeks pregnant now and he still goes to every other one.
