How to train him????

Does your dog just randomly stare at you?My husband older dog has developed this bad habit if just sitting there and staring at me forever. Does anyone know why he would do this? He does like men more than women, and he isn't a huge fan of me, but we get along fine. He just prefers my husband. Is there a way I can properly tech him to stop? I do not like being started at, it's a pet peeve of mine and I'd like to tech him to stop.

He's a dog lol. They're just weird. You probably could like push his snout away and eventually he'll get it.

Is that possibly his way of trying to tell you he wants/needs something? I know my ex had a dog who would stand there and stare at us if she needed to go outside. My moms dog also does it when he knows it's time for a walk

Could be the breed. I have a German Shepherd and she stares all the time. It usually means she wants attention or is waiting for some sort of direction. She is also very protective, so she she likes to keep an eye on me.

What kind of dog is he? Mine does this. He is a corgi. It is part of his herding instinct though. I don't mind at all, even if he is a bit creepy.
