Wyatt arrived 7/11/17 at 12:58am!

I went in Sunday to be induced at 7:00pm. I was 1cm and 70% effaced when we got there. We tried 4 rounds of Cytotek, Still not dilated any farther and contractions were getting strong. Around 1:00pm inserted a Foley bulb to dilate me. That got me to a 3-4 and we broke my water. After an hour I was checked again and still hadn't dilated any farther. We started Pitocin around 6pm Monday. Contractions came strong and fast, I spent a lot of time in the shower! Finally gave in and got an epidural, I was exhausted from pain and had been going since Sunday! Around 9pm it was noticed his heart rate started to drop with every contraction and I was still only dilated to a 3-4. They dropped the pitocin down 3 from 6 and inserted internal monitors. My contractions slowed down but his heart rate still kept dropping. Decision was made to have C section as much as I didn't want one, I wanted my little boy to be safe! During the C section I lost more blood than I was supposed too and my husband and newborn baby boy were rushed out. Everything went well and I was watched closely due to a very low blood pressure from loss of blood!

He was worth every single second!

Wyatt Kenneth Scott Schroeder was born at 12:58am 7/11/17 weighing 6lbs 12oz 20in long!
