Why do I always get dry?

Every time I have sex, I get dry. I don't get it. I'm in the mood, I want to keep going but boom dry spell. I use lubricant, we do foreplay, and still I get dry. I hate seeing the disappointment when he's like, damn again.

I read that maybe my estrogen could be low, so I was thinking about getting back on birth control. I had the nexplanon and really didn't like the side affects, but I'm forgetful with the pill, don't like the depo because I gained too much weight.

So basically my question is, how can I help getting myself wet again? And what birth controls have you ladies tried and really liked? I'm scheduling a doctors appointment tomorrow to get checked out, but as always I'm impatient and want to know what other ladies think!
