What were you doing before your water broke?

I woke up to a really strong contraction and felt and heard a pop...all over my bed. And I just washed the sheets that day!

I am about 99% sure mine broke at 430 on the morning on the 12th. A popping feeling and a gush of fluid woke me up and I ran to the bathroom leaving a trail behind me. They were unable to confirm it at the hospital and did end up having to break it when I was fully dilated since ot was the only thing stopping her from coming out. Partially curious what happened there since I can't possibly imagine what else could have happened.

sleeping! I'm surprised that I heard the click sound in my sleep, but during that day I had sex for the first time in a few weeks.

My water didn't break until I was l pushing her out. Before I went into labor,  I had gone on a walk and ran up and down some stairs a few hours prior haha.

My water broke this morning. I was at the park with my son feeding ducks. Stood up and a huge gush came out. I had been having period like cramps for 2 days and lost my plug last night. I did notice this morning that I had pink tinged discharge.

My water broke when i started pushing. So my water didn't break until last minute. And my first they broke my water in the hospital to help speed up my labor.

I don't think anything necessarily helped. I had been trying everything in the book for weeks. I just went to the restroom to pee and bared down to make sure my bladder was really empty (I had been having bladder leaks the last week) and I heard and felt 3 pops go down my spine. A huge gush (plus a lot of little gushes) and 25 hours of labor later, baby was here.

I was standing at my desk at work, no signs labor was coming and then my water broke...major gush that kept coming. I had my membranes swept at my 39 week appt and she arrived at 39 weeks + 2 days!
