When did you tell your family?

We are still TTC but I'm curious to see how soon you told your family members (parents, siblings, etc.) Also please comment and let me know how you did it! Thanks in advance!

My doctor suggested only telling the people to whom you would be comfortable telling you had a miscarriage of you tell anyone before first trimester is up. 
It's our first and there was a lot of "family stuff" going on so we told both grandmothers first on Mother's Day, which was 12 weeks.

We told our family at 5w+2 at dinner. We had my parents open this.

With our first I told my mama around 5 weeks, everyone else around 10 weeks. With this one when we get pregnant I will probably tell our parents and our sisters, but ask them to be quiet about it until the second trimester. All the noise and fuss REALLY got on my nerves last time. I might not even post about it on social media, so only people I'm ACTUALLY friends with will know what's going on. But I'm an introvert, and I just hate all the prolonged attention.

I called my family & to my siblings that have children said to them ... so you know that awesome moment when you see your baby's heartbeat for the first time :) my brother (no kids) called him & asked if he was ready to be uncle josh to a new one :) all of them were extremely happy & excited for us :) was very emotional :)
