Is it to early to say I love you?

I've been dating my boyfriend for about 4 months and it's my first relationship.I want to tell my boyfriend I love him when we're together in person,but I'm nervous that he won't say it back.What do I do about this situation?

If you love him then tell him, simple as that! Even if he doesn't feel the same way quite yet, it's okay to say you do. :-)

I was in an abusive relationship. I thought I loved him. But now looking back it was just him manipulating me. I met my new boyfriend when I was still in the abusive relationship. When I met him, I realized that this is how I'm supposed to be treated. I broke off the bad one and got to know my current bf more. Shortly after we were both head over heels for each other. As I got to know him I remember thinking "no this...this is love. I love this boy" he ended up telling me he loved me within a week of our relationship. At first it was scary to me because it seemed to move really fast but I knew deep deep down everything felt right. I knew this was who I need and should be with. I love him. It moved fast but I was so confident his love was gentle, pure, and genuine for me. He is simply the best. He doesn't pressure me. Sometimes I start to panic when we get intimate because of my past, but he doesn't get mad. He just holds me, tucks my hair behind my ears, and tells me everything is going to be okay. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, that if you are confident, without a doubt that you're in love, don't hold back. Let your love be known!!

it's been just over 5 months and my boyfriend and I still haven't said it to each other, I don't want to say it to him unless I REALLY feel he's faithful and actually loves me back but I still have doubts so i haven't said it yet,  I'm going to wait until the time Is right. I suggest you do too :)

Awwe so cute! Well I'm dating someone now 8 months I told him he has my heart, that I really care about him, I said I love the way he treats me and who he is as well as our time together. I expressed this in a letter to be romantic and it went over well and was reciprocated- so you don't always have to use those exact words I LOVE YOU to express that feeling. It can bring on a more serious tone so early. I've dated a lot and I noticed that pushes guys away at times bc they're not always empathetic - so I knew (well, had a feeling) especially with my SO personality it would be taken better by putting in more definite terms- I love when we do this, that, etc. the moments I knew he obv loved as well. 😘 #goodluck

If you love him tell him, maybe he won't say it back right away, maybe he will. I'm a believe that if you love and care about anyone you shouldn't hold it back, tell them, they might need to know as much as you need to tell them.
