Clenched fists?

I just finished reading an article that said about 2 months babies hands shouldn't be clenched anymore but my sons hands are always in fists. Should I be worried?

No, all babies develop differently and at their own pace. You'd do better not to read that stuff or compare your baby with others

My first pretty much kept his clenched until he started crawling lol my second is a bit more relaxed but his are still clenched sometimes

Mine still keeps his hand clenched but we practice open hands with him. I show him how to open his hand and he does it. he's doing it a lot more now without prompting.

First off, stop readying baby articles. They're always going to make you feel like you're doing something wrong or there's something wrong with your baby lol he's just fine! One of my daughters hands are always clenches in a fist. She's doing it right now as she sleeps. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Mine has at least one clenched a lot, usually when she is staring at it. I figured it's because she is figuring out how her hands work. I try to help her open them up by showing her my own hand opening and closing, and she mimics me.

My baby hands are still clenched most times also. She'll open them during sleeping if she's really out

I would say no, I've read that babies grow at their own pace. With babies that were born premature it may take longer for them to reach milestones.
