Anyone else extremely tired post mc?

I am consistently getting 8 or more hours of sleep at night but I'm soooo tired. Is this normal? My D&C was the 17...

I think so. I was for sure but I attributed it to depression. I think it's a combination of stress and hormones and sadness. Sorry :(

i've mc twice, and both times i was extremely tired after. i think its a depression thing but i think its kind of normal

I think it's pretty normal. I've been sleeping more too. I think it's your body's way of healing itself physically and emotionally.

Yes, me too. Been taking it easy the past two weeks, but I've been feeling physically and emotionally drained. The emotional eating probably isn't helping my energy levels, either.

I think not only is your body drained but you probably still have some HCG left in your system which can also leave you feeling tired just like you would in early pregnancy! I think untilI that's down to 0 we still feel as if we're pregnant. I also passed everything on the 17th and as if thursday the 26th my HCG levels were still at 464! Give it time you should feel back to yourself soon!

That's depression. At least that's how it manifested in me. Work to bed to work and back to bed.

I agree with t being depression. I've had the hardest time getting it if bed for work. I've been around 30 minutes late for work for the last 2 weeks (unless I just took the whole day off altogehter). It's been a struggle just to get moving. I'm glad I work at a small business with understanding and caring people or else it'd be bad. I feel a little better now that I've passed everything naturally. I have a bit more pep than previously...sort of.  (As I lay here in bed 😕)

The whole ordeal takes a lot out of you physically. I find it takes a couple of months to start to feel like myself again, and not so drained. I think te emotions are physically exhausting as well. I'm sorry for your loss.
