removing acrylics at home?

i got a new set of acrylics last month and they're starting to grow out. i want to remove them but i can't go to the salon bc 1) i can't afford the price they are asking for and 2) the salon that i go to is very quick and sometimes they hurt me. i've asked them previously multiple times if they'd be a little easier and careful with me bc i'm sensitive but they never do. how can i take them off at home i wanna get these off help
