First love vs. Second love?

Do you have a first AND a second love? Or do you know someone who does? Was the second love better? Did they treat you better? Or was it the same? Did it take long for you to find your second love?

I had a relationship for 5 years with a man that I loved. In the end, he relationship was pretty toxic, and he turned out to be a habitual cheater. I tried to make it work, and finally came to my senses, valued myself more, and walked away.

Shortly there after I met my husband. He's amazing. The love of my life. We've been together a decade. We have 3 perfect kids. We are the happiest couple and I cannot get enough of this man. The trick is that we just don't have love. We have sexual compatability and most importantly mutual love and a profound respect for each other. Love gets your guys together. It's the rest that keeps you happily together long term.

You can love a great many people throughout your life, for different reasons, and under different circumstances. You will find love again. Hopefully this time with all the other puzzle pieces you need to make it

Yes. I had a first love we were together for only a year but we became best friends for 5 years and he meant the world to me. He was in love with me and I was in love with him just was never the right time. He killed himself in 2014 and I thought I'd never find someone like him. That id never love anyone even close to how i felt about him. Then I met my now bf in 2015 and I can honestly say i love him with everything I have. I don't compare him to my first cause it isn't the same. Our relationship is stronger and better than my first one. And my bf does know about my ex.

I've never had a second love. I had a few guys I thought were my first love. But when I met my fiancé and fell in love with him I realized that I'd never loved anyone before, it was all just puppy love, infatuation and lust. My first love is my one and only.

Yes. You can have more than one "love", that's why there's your "first love". it's so unpredictable. If you're worried about not finding love again, or a love like that, trust me that you will. When you least expect it you will. If you're asking if you can love 2 people at once, yes you can. I've been there. But I had to make a choice, and I did. Then down the road the guy I moved myself away from cane back to me, and we've been together almost 10 years now. Love is the one thing I am completely OK with letting destiny take control of. I know it seems hard now and near impossible, but be patient :)

Eh, I had what I thought was my first love. Looking back, it wasn't. It was abuse and I was younger & vulnerable. 2 kids and 5 years later I figured it out.
I've met my match though 😍
I do believe that my SO is the love of my
life & I remind him every day 😊
