Could I still be pregnant l?

Hi ladies!
So I broke down and tested yesterday at 8dpo. I got a negative... could I still be pregnant? Showing a few symptoms, a little cramping here and there. Nothing crazy. Thoughts?!

I tested at 8DPO and got a BFP - however, that pregnancy ended in a chemical pregnancy (where the sperm meets the egg but they were unable to attach to the uterine wall). 
This is when I learned that early detection doesn't mean anything! 😞

I didn't test positive until one day after my missed period ... so test again in a few days
