Is a workout trainer worth it or nah

I just signed up for a gym membership and they're pushing their trainers on me... but not sure if it's worth $200 extra a month

If you have the money I would say yes, I had a consult with a trainer and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The only thing though is if you're going to spend the money then really seriously find someone who knows what they're talking about. It is SO easy nowadays to become a personal trainer and sooooooo many of them don't have a single clue what they're doing or talking about. I briefly dated a personal trainer and he was useless at his job, I've seen him train people and if they didn't body build he really didn't know how to help them. But if you find someone proficient at their job they'll cost you more money. They hold you accountable, help you with meal planning and other aspects of weight loss that are important too outside of the gym. If you're short on the money or are on the fence really try and do your research yourself if you can. There's so much info on the Internet about nutrition and tonnes of videos on YouTube to help with exercise

I think all money spent on working out is pointless your body is really all you need and it's financially better lol

It wasn't worth it to me. I have a really inconsistent schedule and I wasn't always available when my trainer was. I just asked for one session so a trainer can show me what I need to be doing and the proper way to do it.

It's worth it if you are new to working out, can afford it and are looking for a routine and to get to know how to properly use weights and machines. I loved having a trainer, someone to push me past the point I thought I could push myself. I had one for about 6 months and then went on my own.... when I have this baby, I will def sign back up for a kick start.

It would be worth it, but most gyms offer you a free appointment with a trainer each month. Look into that to see if you'll want to even do it.
