Ouchie

Sooo I started experiencing symptoms that my period was coming (cramps/acne/bloat) like a week ago, but I didn't actually start bleeding until 2 days ago which was unusual, but whatever.

And usually my period is like a crime scene the first 2 days, but there really hasn't been much blood at all, which, again, whatever I guess.

So I've been wearing a tampon but like I said, there hasn't been much blood so basically I'm pretty dry and have this terrible cotton shoved up my vagina and it's caused a lot of irritation and itchiness.

I assumed it was my dry vagina/tampon combo that was causing the irritation, but I'm now wearing a pad and I'm still super itchy down there and very uncomfortable..

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to stop the itching? Do you think it's from the tampon as well?
