Possible PCOS please help
** UPDATE ** My results came back that I have moderate to severe insulin resistance but after having other tests done it was determined that right now that is the only issue. My periods are still considered within normal range and I had normal bloods for the diabetes tests. I am now on Metformin and a solid diet/exercise plan. My OB wants to see me back in 6 months to see where my health is at and then go from there with the fertility stuff. She advised me to take a 6 month hiatus from baby making to get my health in check to lower my risk for GD and Preeclampsia. I am a little sad we have to wait but glad the news wasn't worse. definitely don't want diabetes. Thank you ladies for reaching out. It helped so much. I would have responded sooner but my app updated and I couldn't figure out how to get back to my post. lol. ***************************************** So I went to my OB last month because ever since my miscarriage we haven't had any luck getting pregnant. She referred me to a medical weightloss clinic within the hospital and I had my first appt. today. It was found that I have a slow metabolism. They sent me for blood work to check for insulin resistance and warned me that if it comes back positive it is possible that with my other symptoms I may have PCOS. It's really freaking me out because I've heard of women with this really struggling with fertility. I guess I just came here to get some feedback from ladies who have PCOS or insulin resistance. I am so scared to receive my results because I am terrified that I will eventually find out I can't have children.
