Pregnant on the pill?

Hey ladies, I really need some help considering I'm only a 15 year old girl who really doesn't know too much. Me and my boyfriend have been having sex for a year now but recently I went off the pill (January-May) but I then started up again last month, which is ok and I thought unprotected sex would be fine since we've always gone unprotected. I was supposed to be on my period pills but I decided to skip them because I was seeing my boyfriend and we went unprotected and he came in me twice. I also slept with it in me over night 🤦🏼‍♀️ anyway, my period is now a week late and I'm kind of freaking out, could he have gotten me pregnant? 😬

He DEFINITELY could have gotten you pregnant ... I'd say wait another week before testing. You're 15 so your period is bound to be irregular.

When you said you went off your "period pills" do you mean you stopped taking your birth control and then let your boyfriend cum inside of you? If that's what you meant, I can't stress how much of a bad idea it is to stop taking your birth control and let someone cum inside you. Yes, there is always a chance that you could be pregnant if you stopped taking birth control and then he ejaculated inside of you. Even if you take a birth control pill reguarly and keep on top of the schedule perfectly, there's still a small chance of getting pregnant so it's best to still pull out if you REALLY do not want to get pregnant. I also want to remind you that birth control does not protect against dangerous STD's which is always important to remember! Birth control and getting off of birth control can mess with your periods but take a test if you think you could be pregnant. Please protect yourself and take the steps needed to be a mature individual if you do not want to have a baby and spend 18+ years raising another human being. Good luck!

Are you referring to skipping your one week of plecebos, the ones you normally have your period during? If you have been taking your pills for more than 7 days, and only skipped those pills you should be fine. Lots of people skip them (I do), they are usually called 'sugar pills). If you skipped any of the regular pills, then yes... you could be! Of course pills aren't 100% effective, so there is always a slight chance.

I say get a pregnancy test now. A women is 10 times more likely to get pregnant when on her period. And even if you do pee after sex it doesn't get rid of the sperm that's in you. You pee after sex so you don't to get an infection.
