Yeast infection a month after antibiotics?

Is it possible, a month after taking antibiotics to get a yeast infection? Think I might be getting the start of one.. 😩 cottage cheese discharge and slight itching, but no smell? 🤔

That sounds like a yeast infection. It could be the antibiotics (they kill off bacteria which changes your vaginal pH), but it's unlikely since it's been a month since you used them. So it's more likely another reason- yeast infections can be caused by so many things! From feminine washes, sex, wearing a wet swim suit or sweaty clothes for too long to wearing jeans that are too tight. Just treat it quickly- its easier to treat than a UTI or other infection usually. You can get medication at a pharmacy and most drugs are over the counter as well unlike when you're using antibiotics for a UTI, etc.

I get a yeast infection literally every time I take antibiotics.  It's so bad I just ask the doctor to write me a prescription for Diflucan when they prescribe the antibiotics.  You can't take Diflucan while pregnant though, if you are.
