Tips on binding?

I'm 17, bisexual, and nonbinary and earlier today I got my first job. The second I get paid in a couple weeks I would like to get a chest binder. I kind of have mixed feelings on boobs. I hate having them but I would still like to have them to breastfeed my future kids so I don't think I'd ever have top surgery at least until I'm done having kids. Any advice on choosing my first binder?
Sizing tips? Anything would help, please and thank you 🏳️‍🌈

For first binders I personally recommend Velcro. Easy to take on and off even in public, like I'm mine starts to hurt I can literally just open it in the middle of the street 😂 I'll only do that if I have a jacket on though. They're harder to find though, lesloveboat has them. For sizing, all online shops that are actually selling proper binders should have them. DONT get binders from eBay, amazon, wish etc, don't do it, I've done it, they're not worth it. @transgenderteenssurvivalguide on tumblr has a huge collection of useful information and I used that blog a lot when choosing my binder.

GC2B makes really nice binders that are only about $10 more expensive than most of the stuff on Amazon and I'd definitely recommend looking there. Following their size chart though, the first binder I got from them was much too small. Go up a size if you're near a cut off. Their website says you should only have to if you have broad shoulders, but I don't think mine are even that broad. Also, if your breasts are pretty small, you can get about as good of a result with a compressive sports bra. I just got one from under armor that flattens me out about as much as any of my binders.

PLEASE make sure you have the right size. I wore an improperly sized binder (too small) every day for the better of two years because I didn't have access to anything better and have lasting damage. I haven't worn a binder in a little under a year and still experience pain.
