My boyfriend and I work (same shift) and live together, and it makes it difficult for us to find alone time. He loves video games, and I enjoy them too. He always wants to play them, and he plays the ones that I can't play with him (1 player), though. I bought Diablo III for us both to play (2 player)so that we could play together, but he doesn't like it. He will turn the tv off when I'm watching and start playing his games. It is so boring to sit and watch him play, and we don't have another tv. He came home last night (I was home because I went to the doctor and found out I have strep throat) and he had apparently vented to some friends about us, who then told him he was being an ass. He apologized and promised to treat me better and try to understand me better, but then showed me his new game (which costed $60 and he knows we are tight on cash). I let him play for a few hours, and cuddled with him while he was playing until I was bored, then I worked on a journal (I do handmade journals). Well, this morning I got up to use the bathroom and when I came back he was already on his game again, so I went and hung out with my mom for a few hours. I'm not feeling well, so when I got home I just wanted to relax and watch tv, but he was still playing. He finally got off the game, but wouldn't let me watch what I wanted. He took the remote with him to the kitchen and turned the tv off and blocked it when I got the remote after he finally took it out of his pocket and put it on the table. I get that he feels like he doesn't get to play his games often, but he's never lived with a girlfriend before. He moved from his parents house, while I haven't lived with mine for years. I feel like he's just being immature. Opinions?
