First Tooth Gone Wrong

At 14 months old, my son is finally cutting his first tooth. We should be excited except...it's silver.

Not brown. Not black. Silver. It shines.

Called the pediatrician and am making an appointment with a pediatric dentist. Until then, does anyone have a clue what it could be?

I'm thinking antibiotics. He's in day care (since 3 months old) and has had ear infections and antibiotics to treat them several times. 😞
