Should we announce?

We planned on announcing our first pregnancy to family on easter because it's the only time we'll see them/have them all together before we make it public. Ill be 7w2d for easter, so I know it's early but we're so excited! We've tried for 9 months and finally have our miracle baby!! What do you guys recommend?

I told immediate family and super close friends right away...those ppl that will be there through the thick and thin anyways.

I think you should announce if that is what your heart is telling you to do but you can always wait. Good luck

I told immediate family and close friends as soon as the pregnancy test came out positive. They all knew we were trying anyway.

It is completely your choice. We told close family at 6 weeks because we were all together for Thanksgiving and couldn't stand keeping it to ourselves any longer. We told everyone else after seeing a strong heartbeat at 8 weeks. Just take a moment and think if you can handle having to tell everyone you lost the baby should the worst happen.

It's honestly your own personal decision. I waited until I was 16w pregnant to officially announce my pregnancy. Granted I told close family and of course the father, but I waited until later on just to make sure everything was okay. I'm also a high risk patient due to a heart condition I have so that played into my waiting. I personally love that I waited so long because it was my little secret and I felt like it gave me and my little man time to get use to one another (if that makes sense lol). If you want to tell people at Easter and it's something you feel comfortable doing, then do it!! No one can tell you what's best for you! Congrats btw!!!

I told those close to me right away. I'd want all of those close to me to be there to support me if I were to have a miscarriage, so why not tell them now? Also, I almost always have at least a glass of wine in social settings, so people figure it out pretty quickly anyway...
