Hoping to make it full term this time!

Kaitlyn

With my first i delivered at 34 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. I felt like i missed out on so much, not only just the last few uncomfortable weeks but the whole newborn experience. We spent 7 weeks in the nicu so i missed out on being up all night, teaching baby to eat and sleep and just snuggling my newborn.

Im currently 28+3 with a little girl and im so determined to make it full term, i feel like if i dont ill be very upset. Im excited to be uncomfortable. Im excited to lose my mucus plug. Im excited to labor at home as much as possible before heading to the hospital. Im excited to work through contractions on my own before i beg for medicine (and i will beg for medicine😂) im excited to be able to hold my baby girl as soon as she is out of me, blood and all. Im excited to be able to take her home when i go home, to be up all night wondering why she wont go to sleep or why even though she fed for over 30 mins shes still crying. Im excited to watch her umbilical cord fall off. Im just excited for all of the stuff that i missed out on with my son that so many people take for granted.

Any other mamas out there that delivered early that are looking forward to the same stuff!?
