I have 1 kid and another on the way...my parents still don't know I'm sexually active, lol.  But for real...I never told them. I never had the need to tell them.

I was 16 and was given $20....all it costed for an OBGYN exam and a year worth of BC pills at planned parenthood. This was in 2000. I was so glad I was able to talk to my mom, and my grandma was there. She gave me the $ and said "I don't want great grandchildren from you yet." I do feel though, I've got some awesome parents.

It was just assumed at one point when me and my bf were really serious. Now we're married and she tries to talk to me about sex like we're besties and I'm just like noooo mom I don't want to hear this from you 😂😂

I was 17 and had been with my boyfriend for 3 years at that point so I felt it was the right time. I wanted to be put on birth control so I talked to my mom so we could go to the doctors and get it. She had no problem with it so we went the following week 😊 if I hadn't been a smart, responsible teen in a healthy long term relationship then it would have been a different story.

It wasn't something I needed to discuss with my parents... I'd say my mom had a pretty good idea even before she walked in on me and my BF when we were 23 lol.
