New tattoo....tattoo blowout???

So I just got my very first tattoo on Saturday . I've been following all the instructions my artist gave me. When she drew the stencil of the tattoo she told me that the font had to be bigger than what I had originally wanted or else the letter would blend together and over time be unreadable. I agreed and we went with a bigger font. As my tattoo had begun the healing process I'm getting worried that I'm having a tattoo blowout and that the letters of the words are still blending together. Am I wrong? Am I right? What's going on!?!?!?!?l
