How to get free birth control?

My prescription just expired and my insurance changed and I have no doctor right now due to a payment malfunction... need birth control. Gunna try Nurx but wondering if there's any other way? Thanks!

You can go to your local health department. They provide women's services, such as STD testing, annual paps, vaccinations, for adults and children, flu shots, condoms, and birth control. They also provide free prenatal care to pregnant women as well as WIC services. They do not administer abortions! They are not in conjunction with planned parenting, but offer family planning.  They'll give you a pregnancy test first, and then an exam and papsmear, and they will give you a prescription at the end of your visit. You can request the generic brand and I think it's only $4.00 dollars at Walmart. They will also help you feel out for insurance if you don't have any insurance to see if you qualify for Medicaid. You will not be charged for your visit.
