Hello I currently breastfeed but am pumping for the late night feed  and to freeze for when I can go out. LO is almost 6 weeks how long do you need to pump for on each breast in one session and how much should come out? I feel o don't make enough milk.

Answer

Pump until your milk stops + 5 minutes. This will tell your body to produce more milk. For me, this usually means pumping about 25-30 minutes. 
Also, make sure you are doing breast compressions/massage when pumping. You get much more output this way. 
When my daughter was 6 weeks, I was pumping every 3 hours and would get about 2.5-3 ounces a pumping session (from both breasts combined).
