Bleeding after delivery

I am 8 day PP and still bleeding red and like a normal period flow. Yesterday I passed some clots.

I called the nurse hotline and emailed my doctor. Neither are concerned unless I'm filling pads in an hour or two for multiple hours- but I still worry because all the literature suggests it should have changed to dark red/brown and lightened flow by now. I read some other posts of women saying they're in the same boat but figured I should ask in here if anyone is with me in this boat. I am a worried cat over here

Also is it true breastfeeding moms bleed more??
