Period: twice a month

I have been getting my period twice a month for awhile now and i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. It has been like this since last October. I was planning to go see an oby about this the very beginning of the summer but my cycle came back to normal so I cancelled my appointment. But ever since a few months ago, i have been getting my period every two weeks 😭😭😭

I am a college student and am sexually active (although i do not think these r relevant factors since i have been both even before this started happening)
