Confused but not that worried yet

Period was on July 22nd-July 25th, I'm on birth control, but this last period was late, but nothing worrisome. I had unprotected sex the day that my period ended. Now, since I had sex, I've had a few cramps here and there. This morning, when I went to the bathroom, when I wiped I saw some not too dark blood. It wasn't like the usual deep red for a period, at least in my opinion.

Should I make an appointment with my gyno or let this past and rest easy?
