Spotting?

I'm around 10-11wks we're thinking. I haven't gotten to see a doctor yet or have any ultra sounds. The only test I've had were two hcgs and some other labs. This will be my first so probably more paranoid plus not seeing a doc yet makes my anxiety level a little higher. I noticed last night a small amount of very light pink discharge or spotting? Then after intercourse this morning noticed it again. From what I have read that is pretty normal? Before today we hadn't had intercourse since Friday AM. I'm just nervous and curious what everyone else's experiences and thoughts are. We called my ob office and a physician on call called back and said it's more than likely no big deal but I'm still nervous.
