Our son, Noah, had surgery today.

Unfortunately after surgery Noah's condition deteriorated fast. He is currently sedated and on ventilation.

The next 12-24 hours are critical.

If in the next 12-24hours Noah's condition improves the doctors will slowly start to reduce the amount of sedation.

Please join us in lighting a candle for our son's fight.

Lots of love Noah's mummy and daddy.

Noah's surgery was tricky, the actually operation was fine, his blood pressure kept on fluctuating, his heart rate became dangerously low. His entire surgery was supposed to last 1.5 hours maximum when it took a little over 4 hours from start to finish. I've never paced up and down the hospital corridors so much.

Whilst Noah was in recovery his airways collapsed resulting in him being intubation and sedated.

Noah is currently still sedated and on a ventilator as the surgeon believes that it will give him a better chance to recover and cause less stress on his little heart, in the next 12 to 24 hours (hopefully no more) they will slowly start reduce the levels of sedation and slowly bring him round.

I've been all over the place since he's come out to theatre, my mum is now with me as well as my husband.
