pregnant whilst breastfeeding without period?

Question

has any ladies gotten pregnant while still breastfeeding? without your period returning? I'm 10 months pp still loving life without a period ✌but I'm curious what the odds are of conceiving if I've not got a period back since birth? EDIT; I'm not using breastfeeding as birth control..I'm asking as we are considering ttc at 12 months so wanted to know if it's likely without having a regular period.

your odds are fairly high. my cousin just had her third in a row without a period in between lol

Considering you ovulate before you have a period you could very easily get pregnant without having a period. At 10 months you can no longer rely on breastfeeding as a form of birth control. Plus I'd assume at this age your child is eating solids so you're no longer EBF. Mine returned at 11 months when my daughter skipped one night feeding. Of course she went back to nursing at night when my period came. 🙄
Breastfeeding as a form of birth control is effective if:
You have not had a period 
Your child is less than six months old
You nurse at least every four hours a day
You nurse at least every six hours a night
Your child is EBF - EBF means no water, solids, formula NOTHING but breast milk 
If a person meets all of this criteria they have a 2% chance of ovulating.
