TERRIFIED of VBAC

Sarah

I'm looking for first hand experience from women who had a vbac. Both successful and failed (however I hate that word! Having a c section does NOT mean you failed😡).

I am a candidate after my firstborn wasn't positioned right. I pushed for 2 1/2 hrs and he didn't move. My Ob is supportive of vbac. My motive for it is because I have crohns. It was knocked out of remission from my firstborn and it is just implied it's a combination from the pregnancy and c section are the cause. However I was induced due to having gestational hypertension. So now they tell me they will most likely not induce bc of uterine rupture (which is what mostly terrifies me because I was only 5 months post partum when I got pregnant- classic took so long for first born and wasn't trying for second😂). But they also tell me I'm 3x more likely to develop the hypertension since I had it my first pregnancy-so maybe another induce?

I'm just having a LOT of anxiety over this. Any stories both positive and negative of vbac would be greatly appreciated!
