leaking amniotic fluid?

Question

I believe I may be leaking amniotic fluid! 
I'm just shy of 27 weeks now
I'm not sure exactly how to tell at this point. I have tried to put liners on to see but I have a bad cough. 
Cough plus pregnancy isn't a great mix because I can't always make it to the bathroom!
Any ways I can tell ? 
Or should I just wait until the next Drs apt?

if go to the Dr asap! I had this happen to me on Friday night at midnight. I though the same thing. called my Dr and he said It could be amniotic fluid so I went in. turns out it's just an increase in discharge due to my cerclage. But the fact it "could be" amniotic fluid caused me to go in and I recommend you go in also! better safe than sorry! good luck!

do Kegals and squats to strengthen your pelvic floor if they determine it's urine not your amniotic fluid

Call your doctor or go to the hospital to get checked is the only way to know for sure. I thought mine was leaking but turned out to be just a lot of discharge. I would go get checked

If the fluid comes out only if you're coughing,it's likely urine or vaginal discharge. I had an amniotic fluid leak at 38 weeks and it just comes out no matter what you do. It's enough fluid that you have to change your pants, not just a little wet on the underwear.

Def see a doctor asap... Peeing when you cough or sneeze is one of those awesome side effects of pregnancy...that doesn't actually go away after birth a lot of the time... I hope you find out what's going on! Good luck
