My husband and I have been ttc for about 10 months. That's just about the amount of time I've been off birth control all together as well. We planned this trip to Jamaica a year ago and now I'm nervous to go bc of the whole Zika thing. My dr to me that if I wasn't pregnant by the time of the trip, to just use condoms for about 8 weeks after returning to prevent getting pregnant during the active time of the virus had either of us contacted it without symptoms. Is that too risky? Should we go? It also raises the issue that it puts us on hold another two months! I'm not the most patient person in the world and I feel my age has me counting the minutes to missing my window of opportunity.
