How many weeks were you induced and why?

I'll be induced sometime next week due to gestational diabetes. I'm exactly 38 weeks today and my doctor told me that women are usually induced by 39 weeks. How many weeks were you when you were induced, and due to what? 
I AM SO ANXIOUS TO FINALLY SET MY INDUCTION DATE! I'll have to wait until the end of this week though... 😓 I just want to my baby girl here already!

38 weeks because I was MISERABLE. No medical reason 😂
