Mini Crib? Advice needed.

Question

Anyone use a Mini crib instead of a regular size one for their babies? How long are they typically used for? Would Aurora be able to fit comfortably in it until she's big enough for a toddler bed? Which would probably be around 2 when I would move her to a toddler bed..
Shes in a cradle right now but will outgrow that here soon and I don't think a full size crib will fit in my room since she's sharing one with us till we get a bigger house.

Hi! My son has a mini crib! We love it! Especially because our room is so small (my husband, my son and I share a small room). My son is 18 months now and still uses it. We lowered the mattress once he started standing up. And this particular one can be used as a toddler bed. :)

my daughter is only 6 months and is just now reaching 50th percentile. she would certainly "fit" in a mini crib but she moves around A LOT and flips and twists and turns. right now she's in a pack n play next to my bed it's getting a bit tight when she puts herself the wrong direction (like horizontal instead of vertical) not sure how the measurements compare to a mini crib. she takes naps in her crib and still moves around so much that she gets caught up in the slats already even though she is fairly petite. she starts out like this but I never know which position she'll wake up in 🙄

Unless she's really small for her age it's unlikely a mini crib will last as long as you need it to. My daughter is almost 2 and very average height/weight and still comfortable in her crib. A mini crib would be very cramped for her.
