Wake to feed?

I was told that since my 2 week old has enough poos and pees and is back to her birth weight don't wake her to feed she'll wake when she's hungry , so far it's been working but I just wanted advice or opinions on it and if other mothers do the same

I've never woken a baby to eat. And I never will unless there's a medical reason.

My pediatrician told me that if she is over 4 weeks you don't have to wake to feed. If under 4 weeks to wake only if it's going over 5 hrs

Definitely listen to your ped.! Babies will cry when they are hungry! Sleep while you have the chance!!!

Always trust your pediatrician over what people on the internet say. Your doctor knows more about the specific needs of your child. 
But yes, i was told with both my kids that i didnt have to wake them up to eat once they were back up to birth weight

You're so lucky. My baby was born 3 weeks early at 6lbs 13oz so I think he's eating more to try to get his weight up. He's now almost 4 weeks and almost 10lbs, of which 1lb was gained in the last 4 days 😖 He eats every 1-2 hours day and night...

I was told the same, however if he sleeps more than 5 or 6 hours I will wake him anyway.

I never woke my daughter to feed her. Even before her 2 week appointment. She gained and ate plenty. You should be fine!

Unless baby has medical or weight issues, let baby sleep.
