Have you had unusual reactions now that you are pregnant?

I ate a fresh pineapple today and 15 minutes later I got small blisters on my lips and tongue. This hasn't happened until I got pregnant. They went away after a couple of hours.

Yes! This just happened to me. I ate shrimp and my eyes were swollen within 15 minutes, itchy throat and nose. Later that night I woke up with itchy hives! Dairy is also making me sick. We don't get enough credit for our sacrifices! Lol.

I don't know what did it but for a few days I had burns in the room of my mouth and tongue like I ate something way to hot but don't remember doing so. I can't even say what It was that caused I either was just random.

My sister has been allergic to pineapples since her 1st pregnancy 10 years ago. I hear it's common to get allergic reactions to that and strawberries. Unfortunately, to this day she can't eat a pineapple without breaking out.

Yes! I ate tortilla chips tonight and could only eat 4 before the sodium had my lips really hurting! DH said they weren't different than normal.
