California EBT

Does anyone have experience with EBT? I finally gave in and applied due to having no help or child support or anything and being a single mom. Well last month my annual report was due, I did it online but apparently it isn't showing up so my benefits got discontinued. I literally cannot make ends meet here if I don't get it. I'm losing my "job" next week which is honestly hardly a job and I used all my savings being stubborn and not accepting aid. So now when I get to talk to them and get things sorted out and the benefits reestablished, will i have to wait until next month to get benefits again? Please no judgement. I'm not at all a lazy person. Itsjust absolutely impossible to live on one "income" with a child in this goddamn state. Moved here to be closer to family and regretting it simply because I have to get freaking state aid. 😔 anyhoo, anyone with experience and advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
