Alerts?

I don't seem to be getting alerts/ notifications anymore. I used to get so excited to see any alerts or notifications but there don't seem to be any anymore. My last notification was 20 days ago, but I still comment and even post frequently. I posted a sonogram pic today and didn't get any notifications but when I went back to the thread I had 4 likes and 1 comment. What gives?
