TMI: severe constipation

I've been suffering from fairly bad constipation. Today I finally felt the urge to go and it was the most horrific thing that has ever happened to me in a bathroom. I had to push hard. Like REALLY hard. I don't mean to sound dumb, but that shouldn't affect baby, right??
