Is 21 considered young to be a mom ?

Its not that simple.
Do u have your own place? Do u have a STABLE job? Do you have health insurance? Are you in a GOOD relationship? Are you mentally prepared to have a baby that will not do much of anything other than cry, poo and feed for the first few months? 
U can be 18 and ready for a child and then u can be 30 and not be ready for one. 
A baby is a 100% life long commitment. A baby will require your undivided attention for a good while. 
You will be exhausted.  U won't get but a few hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. U will skip meals, showers. If i get ppd, it will be HARD to bounce back, even with plenty of moral support for your SO. 
My daughter is 9 months old and i have yet to finish a cup of coffee while its hot. I make my coffee at 7 am, and finish my last sip around 4 pm. My meals are eat in sessions. My showers are military style- in and out in 5 minutes. 
Oh, and im 33 years old,  make 6 figures a year. Have a wonderful husband who helps with everything when he comes home. Yet im forever behind on everything. 
Having a child is a life long commitment , that should absolutely never be taken lightly.

21 is a young mom, but that doesn't mean it's *too* young to be a mom. Everyone's different and ready to be a mom at different times in their lives.

If it makes you feel better I got pregnant a few months before I was 19. The older crowd like 30s+ want to put their 2 cents in that Im a teen mom, but in reality who cares. Its only too young if youre in high school still.

I'm 22 and 26 weeks pregnant with our third lol! I don't see myself as young...technically I am but I feel like I'm in my 30s or 40s lol I've been "adulting" for a long time now!

No you do what you want. I'm 21 and TTC me and my SO make more than my parents and they did okay. It's ultimately up to you whether you have a baby now or 10 years from not someone somewhere is always going to have a negative opinion.
