Could we put an end to paedophilia if we "cured" paedophilles?

To be honest I think that the best way of ending with this horrible issue could be by providing treatment and therapy to these people...? I have no idea of what it really consists of, but loads of people can get over previous traumas and mental disorders, so shouldn't we try to do the same with these people? I know it's hard to have any sort of compassion when we think about certain sensitive topics, but we're all humans and some of us suffer from mental or physical disorders, we all deserve help...
