TESE Success? IVF Abroad?

My husband and I are starting the process of doing IVF in Spain in October. My husband was diagnosed with non-obstructive azoospermia so we will be doing TESA, IVF + ICSI. 
Looking for any success stories either finding sperm via TESE/TESA or doing IVF Abroad.

Good luck Sheri. My husband and I will also be doing TESE and ICSI IVF next year. We were going to go to an excellent facility in Cancun, Mexico but we just learned that here in Quebec, Canada our Medicare refunds us up to 80% of the costs for the procedures. So we've decided to stay in the country. Please post your updates, I would love to hear more from your journey.

Sheri! How did your husbands micro TESE go? As you know we had to do it and weren't successful but I'm not pregnant with twins after finding a sperm donor!

I know this is old, we are currently doing it abroad in Germany because we currently live here. Another couple that was here, went to the same dr we are seeing and have a child now. My husbands TESE was successful (10 straws) and I’m starting my part next week 😬🤞🏻. Spain has a really good reputation for IVF/ICSI, they are allegedly one of the more expensive countries in mainland Europe to do it, but def cheaper than the US. Honestly, I really wanted to go to Belgium, they invented ICSI, and Ghent University has a stellar reputation but my husband talked me into doing it closer to our house 🙄

My partner will do the procedure next week ... i’m so curieuse. If that doesn’t work, we will need sperm from a donor ...

Ps. We decided to go for the micro TESE procedure because the chances of finding viable sperm are much higher than the less invasive TESA.

My husband and I actually found a reputable place working within our budget. We are still purchasing meds from overseas though as they are a lot cheaper.
My husband is scheduled for mTESE on October 16! 🙏🤞
Crazy how so much changes in just two months!
