Babies who are considered healthy are??

Babies come in all shapes and sizes and are mostly healthy. Both bigger and smaller. I seen a bunch of comments on a post saying babies are suppose to be CHUBBY. lmao, both my kids son and daughter were never chubby babies and are both completely healthy and happy!

As long as your baby is following it's normal growth pattern he or she is considered healthy ...my son has stayed in the 50th percentile for his height but has only ever been in the 15/20th percentile for his weight his doctor has never been concerned because it's his normal growth pattern ...now if a baby who is normally in the 50th percentile drops down to the 20th that's when you can be worried

Early on (first two months), our pediatric would say, "we love chubby babies." I think her point, though, was that they love seeing newborns gain really quickly and that it isn't the negative many of us associate it with. I think there are healthy babies in all shapes and sizes.
