Cafe gives women priority seating

➡️ One week a month, they have an 18% premium for men since that's the same as the gender pay gap.

➡️ The tax is optional, but so far, male customers have not refused to pay it.

➡️ Staff say the tax isn't about excluding, but educating.

➡️ All proceeds from the tax go towards (I believe aboriginal women's services).

I personally believe this is bullshit. I'm all for feminism and equal rights, but I really don't think charging men extra is the way to go about the issue of the gender pay gap.
