disappointed 😢

I have been TTC for about a year now. I am 30 year of age and already have a beautiful 9 year old girl. my boyfriend is a father of a 5 year old from a previous relationship so we would like to expand our family... unfortunately it has been very hard to do so. I've tried fertility pills, and nothing seems to work. AF was supposed to come down yesterday but it never did, so I am 1 day late.. I was very anxious so I ran to the nearest drug store and bought a pregnancy test...only to find out it's a negative ☹ have any of you ladies been thru this?
