Ok so my MIL lives way up north and we live way down south.... I have a son, but the new baby will be her first blood grandchild... So she is planning on doin a baby shower but I won't be there.. I'll be on skype.. She will be pretty much opening the gifts and doin all the stuff that that mother to be should be doin. (All my husbands side of the family will be attending) to me this just sounds off... Shouldn't it be that they just send the stuff if they wanted to get the baby something? Shouldn't my husband and I be the ones to open the gifts and be excited instead of watching??
